Privacy Policy
Effective Date: December 1, 2025
We prioritize your privacy. This Policy explains how we collect, process, use, and protect information from users of our websites, apps, and advertising services. It is designed to be comprehensive and practical, so that you understand not only what we do, but also why we do it.
This Policy applies when you:
Visit or browse our websites
Use our mobile or web applications
View or interact with advertisements delivered through our Services
Use our advertising technology as an advertiser or publisher
If you do not agree with the practices described here, you should discontinue use of our Services.
1. Introduction
Understanding privacy in digital interactions can be complex. Users interact with websites, mobile apps, and advertisements in multiple ways and across multiple devices. When you load a page that contains our tags, view an advertisement we serve, or use one of our tools, some information is generated automatically and some information may be provided by you directly.
This policy aims to provide clarity about:
What information is collected during those interactions
How information is used to support content delivery and advertising
How information may be shared with trusted third parties
What rights and protections you have under applicable privacy laws
This policy applies to all types of users, including:
Individuals who simply browse or read content
Advertisers who use our Services to promote products or services
Publishers who integrate our advertising solutions into their sites or apps
It does not apply to websites, apps, or services that we do not own or control, even if they link to our pages or host our ads. Those third parties have their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them separately.
2. Information Collection
We collect information from three main sources:
(1) information you provide directly,
(2) information collected automatically through technology, and
(3) information we receive from third parties.
2.1 Directly Provided Information
You may provide information to us in several ways, including but not limited to:
Registering an Account:
When you sign up as an advertiser or publisher, we may collect your name, email address, password, billing information, company name, and basic profile details you choose to add.
Completing Forms:
If you fill out optional forms, such as feedback or survey forms, where information may be provided voluntarily.
Business Accounts and Billing:
For business relationships, such as advertisers and publishers, we may collect company name, tax ID, payment method, invoicing address, and preferences relating to campaigns (for example, geographic focus or ad categories).
Communications with Us:
When you contact us by email, we may store the content of your communication and any contact details you provide to maintain a record of the interaction.
You are not required to provide every type of information listed above. However, certain Services may not be available if required data is missing.
2.2 Automatically Collected Information
When you interact with our Services, some information is automatically collected, typically using cookies, pixels, log files, and similar technologies:
Device Information:
Device model, operating system, browser type and version, screen resolution, language settings, and other basic technical details that help us render content correctly.
Usage Information:
Pages visited, internal links clicked, time spent on pages, how far you scroll, and how you navigate from one part of the site to another. For ad impressions, we may log which ad was shown, when it appeared, and whether you clicked on it.
Cookies and Pixels:
Cookies are small text files stored on your browser; pixels (or tags) are pieces of code embedded in pages or ads. We use these to remember your general settings, tailor ads to broad interest segments, and measure performance.
Location Information:
We may infer an approximate location (such as city or country) from your IP address. In some contexts, if you explicitly enable location services on your device or browser, more precise location data may be used to deliver region-specific content or advertising.
We do not use this automatically collected information to directly identify you by name. However, some of it may be considered “personal data” or “personal information” where privacy laws treat certain identifiers (such as IP address or cookie ID) as personal.
2.3 Third-Party Sources
We may also obtain information from:
Advertising Networks:
Data related to ad impressions, clicks, and conversions, as well as generalized audience segments created by these networks.
Analytics Providers:
Aggregated statistics about page performance, traffic patterns, and user behavior on our websites, which do not usually identify you individually.
Affiliates and Partners:
Limited information shared with us to support joint promotions, cross-platform advertising, or technical integrations.
We do not knowingly collect or track personal data from children under 16. If we become aware that such information has been collected, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
3. Use of Information
We primarily use information to provide and improve our Services, support advertising, and comply with legal obligations.
3.1 Service Functionality
We use information to:
Deliver the content, tools, and advertising you request or that appear as part of our Service.
Ensure compatibility with your device and browser so that pages render correctly and load efficiently.
Maintain the security and integrity of our websites, apps, and advertising systems.
3.2 Personalization
We may use certain information to:
Adjust the types of ads or content shown based on general interests inferred from browsing behavior (for example, showing more technology-related ads if you frequently read tech-related pages).
Remember basic preferences, such as language or region, so you do not have to select them every time.
We do not create highly detailed dossiers on individual users; our goal is to make content and ads more relevant at a broad level while respecting privacy.
3.3 Advertising
Advertising is an important part of our business model. We use collected information to:
Frequency Capping: Limit how many times you see the same advertisement so the experience is less repetitive.
Retargeting: Show ads related to content you viewed before (e.g., if you read articles about travel, you may see travel-related ads later).
Performance Measurement: Analyze how many times ads were displayed, how many resulted in clicks, and how many led to conversions, such as signing up for a newsletter or visiting an advertiser’s site.
Some of these activities involve cookies or similar technologies. You can limit or disable such tracking as described in the Cookies & Tracking section.
3.4 Analytics
We analyze data to understand and improve our Services:
Evaluate which pages or sections attract more interest and which may need improvement.
Conduct A/B tests to compare different layouts, designs, or ad placements.
Identify technical problems, such as high error rates or unusually slow pages.
The results of these analyses are generally aggregated and do not identify individual users.
3.5 Legal Compliance & Security
We may process information to:
Detect, investigate, and help prevent fraud, abuse of the platform, or security incidents.
Respond to lawful requests from courts, regulatory bodies, or law enforcement authorities.
Enforce our terms of service and protect our legitimate business interests, as well as the rights and safety of users and the public.
3.6 Communication
We may use your contact information to:
Send important service-related announcements, such as changes to this policy or updates to technical features.
Request optional feedback that helps us improve the Services (you may choose whether to respond).
We do not send marketing emails without a legal basis, such as your consent or our legitimate interest under applicable law. You can opt out of marketing communications at any time.
4. Cookies & Tracking
Cookies and similar technologies are essential for many aspects of the modern web. We use them to:
Remember your general preferences, such as region or language.
Keep you signed in (where applicable).
Understand how pages are used so we can maintain and enhance performance.
Deliver and measure advertising and limit redundant ad exposure.
You have several options to control these tools:
Browser Settings: Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies. The method varies by browser, so please refer to your browser’s help section.
Industry Opt-Out Tools: You may use opt-out platforms offered by organizations such as the Digital Advertising Alliance (DAA) or Network Advertising Initiative (NAI), as well as mobile app and connected TV (CTV) choices.
Please note that blocking certain cookies may reduce functionality—some pages may not remember your preferences, and some ad-related features may not work as intended.
5. Information Sharing
We do not share information indiscriminately. Information may be shared only under specific, limited circumstances:
Service Providers:
Companies that assist us with hosting, data storage, analytics, payment processing, ad serving, or email delivery. These providers are contractually required to use information only to provide services to us.
Affiliates & Partners:
We may share limited information with affiliates or selected partners for coordination of joint projects, combined reporting, or lawful marketing initiatives.
Advertising Networks:
To support targeted ads and reporting, we may provide or allow access to pseudonymous identifiers and aggregated data. These networks may also gather information through their own tags integrated in advertisements.
Legal and Regulatory:
When required by law, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to comply with legal obligations, protect our rights or property, or protect the safety of users or the public.
Business Changes:
In the event of a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or sale of assets, information may be transferred along with the relevant business entity, subject to similar privacy protections.
Consent-Based Sharing:
When you explicitly authorize us to share specific information with a third party (for example, for a specific co-branded promotion), we will do so as described at that time.
We do not directly sell personal data as commonly understood, and where applicable law interprets certain data sharing as a “sale,” you may have additional opt-out rights described in the User Rights section.
6. User Rights
Depending on your location and applicable privacy laws, you may have one or more of the following rights regarding your personal information:
Access: Request information about what personal data we hold about you.
Correction: Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
Deletion: Request deletion of personal data, subject to legal or operational retention requirements.
Restriction/Objection: In some regions, you may request that we restrict processing or object to certain uses, such as direct marketing.
Opt-Out of Interest-Based Ads: Use browser and industry tools to reduce targeted advertising.
GDPR Rights (EU/EEA/UK): May include data portability, restriction of processing, objection to processing based on legitimate interests, and withdrawal of consent where processing is based on consent.
CCPA (California) Rights: May include the right to know, delete, and, where relevant, opt out of certain types of data sharing that qualify as a “sale.”
Exercising your rights will not result in denial of access to the Service as a whole, but some features may function differently if certain data is deleted or restricted.
7. Data Security & Retention
We apply administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to help protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. These safeguards may include encryption in transit, access controls, and periodic security reviews.
We retain information only for as long as necessary:
Advertising-related identifiers and logs are generally kept for about 60 days, after which they may be deleted, anonymized, or aggregated.
Data needed for operational, accounting, or audit purposes is typically stored for up to 2 years, or longer if we are required to keep it for legal or tax reasons.
We may process and store information in countries other than your country of residence. When we transfer data internationally, we rely on contractual and legal safeguards, such as data transfer agreements, where required by applicable law.
8. Children
Our Services are intended for users aged 13 or older. We do not knowingly collect, use, or store personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child under 13, we will take reasonable steps to delete that information and, if necessary, disable any associated account or identifier.
9. Policy Updates
We may review and update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect:
Changes in our Services
Changes in applicable laws and regulations
Improvements to our internal processes
When we update the policy, we will change the Effective Date at the top of this document. In some cases, we may provide additional notice, especially if changes are material.
Your continued use of our Services after the updated policy is posted will constitute your acceptance of the revised terms.
